Ability to sort or rearrange Planned Spending/Spending Plan items (edited)
I’d like to have to the ability to rearrange the order of my watchlist, spending plan and especially goals.
Re: Reports: Add a Comparison View/Report [edited] (4 Merged Votes)
Mint has this feature and it is very informative to understand spending. I would like to see how much i spend each month and also how that compared to the past year. I've seen recommendations for wanting averages; I strongly agree with that but averages are useless if your spending habits fluctuate (e.g. my spending is extremely high in the 2 months of the year i pay property tax).
Re: Phone Widgets for android (edited)
Hello it would he extremely beneficial to have not only widgets for andriod but multiple widgets with different functionalities.
For example:
A widget with just a sum balance summary
A widget with pending transactions and posted transactions
A widget with a breakdown of each account and their balance
A widget with Possibly a line graph of spending for the current month (including a cross line for comparing income would be great too)
a widget with a line graph for investment accounts only (it would be nice to see the movement of your accounts without having to open an app)
A simple widget with a loading bar of how your spending plan is going.
It would also be crucial to have a way to refresh without opening the app
Below are some examples from mint
Re: Split transactions should be treated as separate transactions (2 Merged Votes)
I often send money to family for a shared cell phone plan. I bundle this payment up to be once every N number of months. Mint allowed me to separate that single transaction into multiple fully independent transactions, each with a custom date, etc.
I'm looking to do the same with Simplifi.
Re: We want your feedback on the Spending Plan!
(C) When you have something in your Spending Plan that is a Category represented under Subscriptions and ALSO in Planned Spending, make a way to include or display it accurately in Planned Spending. Essentially, don't exclude it from Planned Spending or it causes confusion. Click here to see a more detailed description of the problem.
Using splits (multiple categories) in Recurring Transactions (4 Merged Votes)
I don't seem to be able to setup a split on my recurring insurance payments. These are monthly transactions that include auto, home, RV and umbrella policies on a single payment to my insurance company. Am I missing something?
Ability to Create Transaction Rules for Amounts and Accounts [edited] (7 Merged Vote)
Use Case: Money sending tools such as Venmo is used to pay monthly bills, I would like to setup rules where the amount of the payment (in addition to keyword) are used to rename the pay. For example, If keyword is Venmo and Amount = $140 Then set payee to Cleaning Service, vs. Venmo + $150 = Music Lesson.
Add support for Robinhood IRA
Robinhood [IRA] is listed under the unsupported, not the blocked list, so is there any reason it can't be added? Other aggregators have it.
Re: Poll question? mobile or web app? Which one do you use more?
99% web. I only use mobile if I don't have access to computer. Because of screen size, I much prefer web. If you learned on the mobile app and switch to Web it will take some time using the web before you appreciate the larger screen because you will have to search a little more on the web to find because the layout is for larger screen browsers. Once you use the web for a month or so you will only use mobile when you don't have access to your computer.
Accounting for Rolled Over Planned Spending Cash
Feature:
If it's at all possible, develop a way to "see" how much of a given account's balance is designated for future spending via rollover and where my rollover cash is being held. I'm thinking of something along the lines of the way Savings Goals track funds in Quicken Simplifi.
Rationale:
I find the way the Savings Goals feature in Quicken Simplifi shows me how much I have saved to date and where that cash if held in my various bank accounts. When I contribute to a Savings Goal I have to choose the account I contributing from. Then QS shows that cash as set aside in the accounts list and on the "By account" tap in the Goals module I can see the amount of the current balance in an account is designated, what it is designated for and how much remains undesignated.
This is not the case for the new currently being rolled out Planned Spending rollover feature. I can see in the Planned Spending rollover activated category how much I have available with rollover, but I don't have any way to know which account that cash is held in nor am I able to see in the accounts list just what part of the balance is set aside or designated for specific expenses or expense categories and is not available for spending.
Granted, I can see what I have available to spend in the monthly Spending Plan, but I am no longer able to see that a certain amount of my actual account balance is NOT available to spend in general because those funds have been designated for specific expenses in my Spending Plan.
